T O P I C R E V I E WbdipaoloI am working on a 3D printable Titan II GLV booster stack to be used with Kevin Cespedes' 1:54 Gemini capsule and interstage available on Shapeways. I have printed all the parts at home (and purchased Kevin's parts), and it all fits together. My CAD skills are rather primitive, however, so the surface details on the booster skin are missing. More details on tank covers and inner body walls would also be nice. Maybe someone would like to help? Comments also appreciated.bdipaoloMore screenshots: NASA GlennVery nice work. Please consider 1:48 scale for use with Revell 1:48 Gemini capsule. 1:54 is a bit of an odd scale.bdipaoloAny scale is possible. This is 1:54 because that is the size of a "BT-70" (56 mm) body tube for flying model rockets. Kevin Cespdes offers BT-70 and BT-80 (66 mm) sized capsules and interstages meant for flying models, on Shapeways. I would love to have the interstage in 1:72 to use with the Dragon 1:72 Gemini, to go with my Dragon 1:72 Saturn V and Dragon 1:72 Mercury Redstone. I don't have the skill to duplicate his interstage. bdipaoloHere are the Capsule and interstage from Kevin on Shapeways:bdipaoloFirst test print of booster sections and 2nd stage engine at home on Makerbot Replicator 2. Capsule and interstage from Kevin Cespedes on Shapeways. Main engines my Shapeways print.
